Chicken with caramelized onions

Ingredients
- 2 fillet of chicken breasts, cut in pieces
- 3 medium onions cut in thin round slices
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp margarine with Greek extra virgin olive oil Minerva
- salt
- pepper
Step by step directions
Step 1
Place 1 tablespoon margarine in frying pan over medium heat and when melted add onions
Step 2
Sauté until onions are soft and add sugar
Step 3
Continue to sauté stirring occasionally until onions are caramelized
Step 4
Melt remaining margarine in another pan and add chicken pieces
Step 5
Sauté for about 2-4 minutes on each side until browned and chicken is cooked
Step 6
Add salt, pepper and caramelized onions
Step 7
Stir well until ingredients are combined and remove pan from heat
Step 8
Serve
