Baked fillet of tuna with P.D.O.*

  • 1kg fillet of tuna
  • 1 ½ cups P.D.O. Kalamata olive oil Minerva
  • 2 medium onions finely chopped
  • 1 small bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 ripe tomato diced
  • 1 ripe tomato cut in slices
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • salt
  • pepper

Step by step directions

Step 1

Combine finely chopped onions and parsley and rub tuna fillets with mixture.

Step 2

Place fish in pan.

Step 3

Place a slice of tomato over each fillet and spread diced tomato around tuna.

Step 4

Sprinkle each fillet with oregano, salt and pepper.

Step 5

Drizzle fillets with P.D.O. Kalamata olive oil and lemon juice.

Step 6

Bake in oven at 180oC for about 50-60 minutes or until fish is soft and flaky.
